Thursday, October 14, 2021, was a beautiful day in Cleveland, Ohio.  The weather was unseasonably warm, and the fall foliage was especially colorful.  I was, therefore, pleasantly surprised when approximately 20 colleagues decided to spend part of that day at our indoor networking event. In this season of social distancing, seemingly ever-changing health and wellness guidelines, and Zoom meetings, it was nice to see chapter members and other friends of international education at the Western Reserve Historical Society–even if I did not recognize some of these masked scholars right away!

Chandel Smith was kind enough to capture some of the special photographic memories that I included below, and I thank her for giving me permission to share these images with you. As the Fulbright Association’s 75th Anniversary celebration continues through the end of 2021, I invite you to watch for more photographs and stories about the contributions of Northeast Ohioans to Fulbright‘s “75 Years of Global Impact.”

Thanks to everyone who participated in the October 14th networking event for our newly reactivated chapter. Thanks, also, to those of you who participated in the Fulbright Association’s Virtual 44th Annual Conference and International Education Week.   Take care, be well, and happy holidays! –Regennia
